CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Physiomar 12 will be held in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia (Spain) from 4th to 8th September, 2012 at the Faculty of Biology (Room Santiago Ramón y Cajal), University of Santiago de Compostela. The conference is being organised by USC (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela), Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas (IIM-CSIC) and Centro de Investigacións Mariñas (CIMA, Xunta de Galicia).

Oyster Restoration Workgroup

Student Research Grants are due each year on November 30th. Each grant provides a cash award of $1,250 to support the student’s research. This year seven students submitted 9 applications (two applied for both awards). Submissions were reviewed by Steve Allen, Dave Bushek, Neil Borne, Dan Cheney, Leroy Creswell, Kim Reece, Bill Shaw, Sandra Shumway, and Steve Tettlebach.

Steve Allen and the Recruits have created a Facebook account for NSA activities. Steve will serve as moderator.
